Volunteers help keep The Whiting Family YMCA running smoothly!

As the leading non-profit for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Y works side-by-side with our neighbors every day to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. To do our important work, the Y relies on support from members, donors, volunteers and community leaders. The following are some of the volunteer opportunities available at Crossroads YMCA:

Volunteers

  • Developmental Disabilities Prom
  • Golf Outing
  • Healthy Kids Day/Safe Kids Day
  • Hub Run 5K
  • and other special events!

The Y is a non-profit like no other. Thank you for taking an active role in strengthening your community. Complete a volunteer application and turn it in to the front desk so you can be contacted for the next opportunity.

Congratulations to our Cause-Driven Heroes

On Wednesday, March 22, 2017 Crossroads YMCA hosted their First Annual Volunteer Recognition Event with the theme “Cause-Driven Heroes”. The Cause-Driven Heroes are the hundreds of volunteers who have served and continue to volunteer at the Y in a number of roles. From coaching sports to assisting with events; from serving on the corporate board to community beautification projects—our cause-driven heroes make the YMCA’s work possible.
