Comprehensive Music Lessons

Have you ever wanted to learn how to play a musical instrument? Including violin, guitar, piano, brass and woodwinds, etc. We offer one on one instruction with our instructor Eric Kiszenia. Learn the basics, practice and have fun! See Eric for instrument details. All ages. *Half-hour lessons during hours listed.

  • Day/Times: Saturdays, 10:00am-2:00pm
  • Cost: $10 member / $20 non-member

Music Lessons

Learn to play the keyboard or various string instruments at the Y! Students can learn to play the guitar, piano, ukulele, and bass guitar in various styles such as jazz, blues, rock, and metal. All string instruments can be played both left and right handed. Lessons are scheduled for one hour. Lesson books and accompanying CD are purchased through our instructor, Jose Lozada. Keyboard will be provided. Students must provide own guitar or ukulele. One hour private lessons will be scheduled during the hours listed below.

  • Days/Times: Wed/Thurs, 6:30-8:30pm
  • Cost: $20 members / $40 non-members

Short Film Class

Participants, ages 8 and up, in our Short Film Class will be introduced to making dramas, comedies and documentaries. Classes run in 4-week sessions. Please bring your own cellphone, IPad or camera for filming.

  • Day/Times: Saturdays, 12:30-1:30pm
  • Cost: $40 member / $60 non-member

Zumba® Kids

Zumba® Kids classes feature kid-friendly routines based on original Zumba® choreography. We break down the steps, add games, activities and cultural exploration elements into the class structure. 

This program helps develop a healthy lifestyle and incorporate fitness as a natural part of children’s lives by making fitness fun. Classes also incorporate key childhood development elements like leadership, respect, team work, confidence, self-esteem, memory, creativity, coordination and cultural awareness.

  • Day/Time: Tuesdays 5:00-5:45pm
  • Cost: FREE for members / $20 non-members
